Internship Revenue Management

We are looking for an intern to strengthen our Trading team within Revenue Management at Sunweb Group in Rotterdam. 

Start from September 2025.

This is a hands-on internship, not a research/thesis one.

Within our Trading team, we are looking for an intern who is enthusiastic about learning a lot about Trading, Pricing (by proxy), and Revenue Management in general. This team collaborates within cross-functional teams at the destination level with Product and Contract Management, Supply Support and Traffic departments. They do this for various destinations for both Sun and Ski, and for brands like Sunweb, Eliza was here, and GOGO. You will become an active member of one of these destinations to directly impact and learn a lot about everything that concerns these teams. The communication lines are short, and the atmosphere within the teams and Sunweb Group is informal. We like to work closely together, are driven, stand for rapid growth, high quality, and optimal results!

Your impact

Our team provides input for other departments, set priorities and determine weekly risks within the destinations. Our goal is to optimize the occupancy of our purchased flights and minimize the risk in accommodation commitments. We monitor the inventory and potential risks of empty airplane seats and accommodations to maximize the volume of passengers. All with the aim of achieving the optimal sales result. This is the main task of a Trader. As an intern, you will provide daily support to the Trading team and are therefore an important part of the team. Varied and very challenging!

• Stock management for Flights and Accommodations

• Determine passenger targets for destinations

• Full responsibility of some destinations to provide input for other departments

• Evaluation of accommodation steering

• Monitoring certain restrictions on accommodations and flights

• Season evaluation + new season reporting preparations

• Monitor and change contracts for Ski

In addition to these tasks, there is room for your own input/initiative, and this can be aligned with set learning objectives. A possible internship assignment of about 1 day per week is possible in consultation.

What skills will bring you to the top?

• You are an HBO, Bachelor or Master’s student in Business Administration, Tourism or similar field.

• You possess good communication and written skills.

• You are social but can also work well independently.

• You are flexible and commercially oriented.

• You are proactive, meticulous, efficient, and accurate in your work.

• You can dedicate at least 4 days a week to this internship.

• It is expected that you will work approximately 50% from home and 50% in the office in Rotterdam, if possible
