As the Tech & Digital Talent Acquisition Lead Group IT you will be responsible for driving engagement between Talent Acquisition and both HR functions (e.g. HRBPs) and Hiring Managers. You are also responsible for translating operational staffing needs into practicable recruiting activities and developing appropriate measures to provide solutions in terms of quality and timing. This role will also be responsible for alignment with the overall TA (non volume) strategy, creating and driving a standardised global TA process within relevant functional areas. You will act as team lead for a number of recruiters located across Europe, providing mentoring, supporting personal development and ensuring the smooth handling recruitment and attraction activities for all Tech & Digital vacancies.

 

You will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition (Non-volume) and support for the Tech and Digital Managers, global HR Business Partners and Directors up to C-Level on matters of sourcing strategy and TA resource management and planning. You will assist in the delivery of HR projects with a national and international focus, collaborating with internationally located colleagues within working groups to help shape and implement processes and best practices, not only within TA, but also the wider HR community.

 

You will identify new, innovative methods to achieve our resourcing delivery plans and consider the merits of various sourcing options, in a role that will be demanding, challenging and extremely rewarding at the same time.

 

ABOUT THE JOB:

  • Act as the strategic interface between Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and hiring managers to identify gaps in process and shape the overall Talent Acquisition strategy, in response to business demand.
  • Develop innovative initiatives to ensure talent pipelines are continuously being strengthened in order to support current and future needs of the Tech/Digital business.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the hiring process across the whole organisation and propose and implement creative solutions
  • Establish and manage a regular demand evaluation process and derive relevant measures to achieve the business requirement
  • Drive stakeholder engagement to generate top-down buy-in and create awareness and curiosity for group-wide knowledge exchange within all management levels
  • Ensure conflicting stakeholder requirements are mediated appropriately
  • Manage direct reports / act as matrix manager
  • Ensure a reliable service delivery in terms of time and quality.
  • Managing business as usual TA team delivery according to predefined performance indicators; deriving the necessary measures and coordinating the related activities to achieve the defined goals.
  • Manage data collection for monthly KPI reporting and present your findings in regular updates for senior business and HR leadership teams.
  • Providing mentorship and development to the people you support, ensuring that they are growing within their area of expertise, acquiring new skills, doing valuable work, working well together and feeling engaged and supported.
  • Responsibility for budget annual budget planning for TA team costs such as Job Boards and Talent Attraction initiatives
  • Some travel may be required

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience of working in a Technical or Digital recruiting position (in-house or agency), preferably as a senior or lead recruiter in a competitive and dynamic business.
  • Leadership experience in leading a high-performing recruiting team for a business, resulting in the acquisition and retention of top talents in the market
  • Experience of managing occasionally conflicting senior stakeholder’s demands, delivering innovative solutions and finding mediating where necessary.
  • Confidence in using MI and know-how in using data to evaluate and continuously improve the success and impact of recruitment activity.
  • Mastery of moderation, presentation, visualisation techniques and feedback methods with good influencing skills and the ability to make yourself understood by international colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of overall recruitment landscape within the Tech & Digital space, bringing an understanding of relevant agencies, candidate skills availability and market rate salaries for benchmarking activities.
  • Professional credibility and strong negotiating skills will be required in order to diagnose and analyse business issues, in addition to coaching and influencing senior leaders.
  • Experience of leading multinational teams with different cultural backgrounds
  • Good working knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation
  • Fluent in English, an additional European language is a plus
