Financial Accountant (medior position)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to strengthen our finance team. In this position, you will be responsible for the financial administration of multiple entities within our legal structure, acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all financial accounting matters related to these entities.

Your impact

You will drive accurate and timely month-end closings, ensure balance sheet integrity, and support both statutory (local GAAP) and group audits. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues from Controlling, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other support departments.

• Manage daily accounting tasks and act as the SPOC for assigned entities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process

• Take full ownership of the balance sheet, including analytical reviews

• Prepare monthly balance sheet analyses as input for financial reporting

• Support process, system, and cooperation improvements within the financial administration (NetSuite)

• Assist with both local GAAP and group audit preparations and processes

• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely related payments to tax authorities and employees

• Support accurate intercompany transactions aligned with transfer pricing agreements

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reconciliations, and cash management

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus
